| Buyer's Guide - Clarity | ||||||||
|
A diamond is a crystal made of carbon atoms formed under extreme heat and pressure. When the carbon is crystalizing, more often than not, impurities get trapped in the diamond. These impurities result in dark spots, feathering, and even cracks. The Clarity of a diamond or any other stone is a measure of the the quantity, size, and location of these imperfections. |
